Can a client issue a personal check for commission on a rental, referral, etc.?

Yes, we accept personal checks. Due to the higher risk of a personal check being returned for insufficient funds, all outgoing payments on the deal associated with the personal check received must be held for 10 business days after receipt to confirm it did not bounce. We recommend trying to use a money order or cashier’s check instead if possible. You will be notified via email by the office when payment is ready to be released.
