What if the buyer refuses to or cannot provide certain information to complete the contract?

If they refuse, you should be sure that the ‘DO NOT REQUIRE’ line on the disclosure is initialed and ask the Buyer to sign a ‘Buyer’s Disclosure Release’ stating that you made the effort to get the information but they refused. If they do not know the information, you should stop the process and get the necessary information before proceeding with writing the offer.
